Cherry

Cherry is a wolf from The Green on the planet of SOL. She is her pack's Forest Whisperer and the main character of The Brightest of Hearts.

Appearance

Cherry is a bright pink wolf with a lighter pink underbelly, ears, and tail. Her legs are all dark pink. She has feathered wings, the top of which are bright pink, the bottom being dark pink and the very tips being light pink. She has purple bangs with cyan tips and her pupils are purple while her irises are cyan. She wears a cyan bandana around her neck.

Later in life, Cherry loses an ear.

Personality

Cherry is an optimistic young wolf that tries to see the best in everybody. She firmly believes that everyone is capable of good and that good will always triumph over evil. When she sees a problem, she figures that if no one else is already solving it, she might as well jump in and help. She is also impulsive and trusts every easily.

Cherry is fiercly loyal to her pack and her forest, loves learning about history (especially about The Green), her favorite color is cyan and her favorite animal is earthworms. She's also afraid of the dark and being underground.

History

Cherry was born in a wolf pack in The Green on the plant SOL. Her pack lives near The Pit and she grew up on the stories of its creation. She was chosen to be her pack's Forest Whisperer at a young age and has worked at becoming a good enough plant magician to properly communicate with her home tirelessly since then.

When Cherry turned 15, the kingdom of Glenlocke began attempting to build a bridge across The Pit and the events of The Brightest of Hearts followed.

• Cherry's design was heavily inspired by the sparkledogs of the early 2000s. I wasn't old enough to be around for the initial sparkledog craze, but I love a lot of those old designs and concepts.
• Cherry's original design didn't have wings.
• Cherry is very distantly related to Crimson through their shared relation to Helel's pack.
